FirstBank Announces Addition of Three Key Senior Leaders
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – FirstBank has announced the addition of several key leaders to fill positions within its finance, accounting and capital markets divisions.
Keith Rainwater has been named Chief Accounting Officer. Rainwater, a Certified Public Accountant, brings more than 25 years of banking experience and extensive accounting background to the team. Prior to joining FirstBank, he served as EVP and Principal Accounting Officer for a regional bank in South Carolina. In this role, he will oversee the accounting operations and reporting functions. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University.
Josh Weikers has been named Director of Mortgage Capital Markets. He brings extensive mortgage, capital markets and regulatory experience to the table. Prior to joining the FirstBank team, he spent eight years at Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C., most recently serving as a Relationship Manager on the customer management solutions team. In his new role, Weikers will be responsible for supporting multiple lines of business, including retail mortgage and consumer direct mortgage. He is a graduate of the Franklin Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University and is currently pursuing his MBA degree at Villanova University.
Forrest Windham has been named Director of Finance. He was most recently SVP, Senior Division Finance Manager for a regional bank in Birmingham, Ala., and brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience to the team, managing nearly all facets of finance throughout his career. In this role, he will be responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting, as well as corporate strategy. Windham received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Alabama.

FirstBank recently announced its expansion into Birmingham, Ala., with the opening of a loan production office. In 2020, the bank expanded its footprint to Kentucky and throughout middle Tennessee through its combinations with Farmers National Bank and Franklin Synergy Bank, respectively.
